About MitImpact
MitImpact is a collection of pre-computed pathogenicity predictions for variants of the human mitochondrial genome. Historically focused on missense (protein-coding) variants, it is being extended to cover tRNA and rRNA variants, each with dedicated, molecule-appropriate features.
Enter a mitochondrial variant in the search box - as a genomic position
(3307), a position with allele (3307A>C),
an HGVS string (NC_012920.1:g.3307A>C), or a dbSNP rsID
(rs199476128) - and MitImpact returns the annotations
relevant to that variant's molecule type.
